Tell me About Your Acceleration Sporting Camps

The full program takes 4-6-8 weeks, depending upon how you schedule your workouts. Our Sport Specific Training packages are 4-6-8 weeks long and require the athlete to attend Quad Cities Sports Acceleration Training at least two times a week. Each visit will include a combination of treadmill training (forward and backward), plyometrics, active warm-up, sports specific training, lower extremity weight lifting sessions, core and flexibility. A thorough pre and post-program evaluation will be performed so that your improvements can be measured and recorded.

In order for the program to be most effective, the athlete is allowed a maximum of 4 or 8 weeks to complete the program from their start date. It is necessary to schedule at least two appointments per week for maximum strength and physiological changes. We will help you design your schedule when you begin.

What can I do to keep making gains?

Quad Cities Sports Acceleration Training is based on your specific needs. Every camp you attend is based on your current level of performance. Once you’ve been through one camp, then participated in your sport, you may want to come back for another camp. Or you may want to continue your camp in season and we just build off your last camp to keep things going.

How is Quad Cities Sports Acceleration Training different from what I can get at sports camps?

It is not our goal to discourage athletes from attending sports camps, but unlike sports camps, our program is designed to provide an athlete with the long term improvements necessary to help them excel in any athletic activity.

Our training camps are based on years of science, research, and program modifications. Sports Camps teach athletes specific skills for their sport, Quad Cities Sports Acceleration Training focuses on building speed, strength, quickness, jumping ability, power, and overall conditioning. Although the price is comparable, you’ll receive far more one-on-one time from professionals with over 4-weeks to absorb and practice what you’re learning.

How can I compare this program to other conditioning programs?

There is no other program like ours in the world. Scientific research by Foxx, tested proven results by Ringwall and input from exercise physiologists, orthopedic physicians, athletic trainers, physical and occupational therapists and many others. Not only can you expect to make physical gains but you will also improve your self confidence and attitude. We help each athlete hone a positive winning attitude while they develop more self confidence with the completion of each camp. Besides the high level of expertise, alumni of our program will tell you it’s great for building athletes’ motivation.

Who else can benefit from these camps?

Although these camps may seem like it is specifically designed for the younger athletes, Acceleration Sports Training offers many other programs for all ages. We have a recreational athlete program specifically designed for the older, yet active individual. We also offer personal training for those individuals that who would like more hands on attention to reach their personal goals.

What can I expect at my first appointment?

Come dressed to work out in shorts, t-shirt and running shoes. The initial evaluation will give the trainers a basis for where the athlete is at in regards to flexibility, speed, quickness, strength, and agility. Eating a light meal two or three hours before your appointment is important. Full payment must be made at the time of the first visit.
