Over the last 3 years of my college career I have been fortunate enough to be able to participate in the Quad Cities Acceleration Program, and I can positively say without this training I would not be the athlete I am today.  After the first 8 week training session, my volleyball coach and I were definitely able to see an all around improvement in my game.  After that season I was able to make All-Conference Honorable Mention as only a sophomore.  Since then, I have only had more success training with them, finishing my junior year with the 3rd most kills in a season at UW-Plateville with 476, and I am currently 7th on the all time kills list with 1,187, as well as getting 1st Team All-Conference, All-Area, and AVCA All-American Honorable Mention.

With the help of Ryan Arnold, his training staff, and the program’s sport specific training, I was able to improve my fundamental skills in speed, agility, endurance, flexibility and become an overall better athlete.

Ryan Arnold and his Acceleration staff are committed to making a difference in student-athletes’ performances on and off the court. Acceleration creates a competitive but fun environment with their hands-on instruction and positive feedback. Our players’ verticals, quickness and overall strength improves every spring! Our athletes’ attitudes about strength training and plyometrics have changed because of Acceleration. Ryan works hard for our student-athletes and takes pride in not only seeing improvements in their training but more importantly, developing relationships with each player.

Looking back on the last seven years, I can definitely say that a large part of the credit for my athletic success goes to the staff at Acceleration. The trainers are always open to help you personally, which shows how they care about each individual athlete.

Each year, I go into track season with a level of confidence that I wouldn’t normally have if it weren’t for the work both I and the trainers put in during the off-season. Acceleration is a program for any athlete who aspires to be their best.

Over the seven years that my daughter has trained at Quad City Sports Acceleration, she has benefited from the professionalism, commitment, and expertise of the Acceleration staff.

Acceleration has taken her from a 6th grader to a mature female who has had great success as a high school track athlete. Acceleration’s off season speed and strength training has, without a doubt, been a major part of her success. Other areas that I have noticed her grow in are coordination, agility, endurance, confidence and motivation.

As my daughter heads into her last varsity track season, I am confident she will be at her best in part due to the hard work, time and interest the trainers put into helping their athletes achieve their goals.

In 2007 I moved to the Quad Cities to follow my dream and play professional football for the Quad City Steamwheelers. Six weeks after moving here and only the third game of my rookie season, I tore my ACL. My obvious reaction was devastation, not knowing if I would ever play football again. But my doctors assured me I could play football again at that level if I stuck to my rehab and began the Acceleration program. After I was cleared from surgery and 6 months of rehab, I followed my doctor’s recommendation and I began training with Acceleration.

I had no expectations as I entered the Acceleration training facility. I learned quickly that this was by far the best program to get an athlete into the best shape of his/her life and to perform at a level he/she always knew they had in them. Acceleration does this through various drills targeting fundamentals, stretching, strength, speed, endurance and functional movements customized for each individual’s unique sport. After utilizing this training program for my 2008 season, I ended up in better shape than I had been in prior to tearing my ACL. At the end of my 2008 season I was named Arena Football 2 First Team All Conference and I was Ranked in the top 5 in league leaders in receiving. My performance during the 2008 season gave me the opportunity to move up to the next level in Arena Football – Arena 1. I had offers to play for 3 of the leading Arena 1 teams when I learned early in 2009 that the Arena League was on hold for the 2009 season. My decision to stay and play in the AF2 league was easy, but for which team was a little more difficult because I was being persistently recruited by numerous AF2 coaches across the country. One of the driving reasons in returning to the QC Steamwheelers was due the Acceleration Program. I trained with Ryan and his team in anticipation of my 2009 season and after the first game I knew that I had made the right choice to train with Acceleration as I tied the franchise record of 7 touchdowns in one game, and that was just the start to an amazing season in which I ended up the season with 172 catches for 2390 yards and 58 touchdowns averaging 148.9 yards per game. I ranked in the top three for multiple franchise records in receiving for the Quad City Steamwheelers along with breaking the league record in receiving yards and ranked high in other receiving categories throughout the league in the 2009 season. I was named the Big Game Playmaker of the year by the af2, along with also being named First Team All af2. I was also named Ironman of the Week and Offensive Player of the Week by the league and was nominated nine other times throughout the season for weekly awards.

Through Acceleration I was given the opportunity to continue my dream of playing professional football after my devastating injury in 2007. I trained again with Acceleration in January – March 2010 and I am now one of the starting receivers for the Des Moines Barnstormers which are part of the Arena 1 League!

I found this training program is for an athlete at every level wanting to up their game. Skies the limit with this program and can take an athlete who has the drive and heart to reach their goals.

I started training with Ryan Arnold and the Acceleration team during my senior year of high school. I’m now in college and I keep coming back because I see positive results year after year. Ryan is constantly learning new training techniques and his program is always evolving. This always gave me the confidence that I had an edge over my competition. Training with Ryan and the Acceleration team is one of the best investments an athlete can make!

Acceleration is second to none in my mind. The program has been a big reason for my success on the field, no doubt about it. Ryan’s knowledge on training athletes is unbelievable and is why I continue to train at Acceleration in preparation and hopes for the NFL. I definitely recommend the Acceleration program to any athlete that is serious about improving their game!

Quad Cities Acceleration has been an outstanding training tool for my son and daughter. Both of my children had average speed going into high school, but with the training they received from Acceleration, they have both achieved new heights. My son, Matthew, has trained year round at Acceleration for the last 3 years. This extra training and expertise has made him a 3-time state qualifier and place winner in track. He also qualified to run at the Drake Relays and Nike Nationals Outdoor track meet. He holds the school record in the 400 low hurdles, and currently runs for Western Illinois University on a track scholarship. My daughter, Alicia, has trained at Acceleration, too. She has played varsity soccer for three years, and her speed and strength on the playing field has increased each year. These are benefits from the training they received at Acceleration. As a Cross Country and Track coach, I recommend Q.C. Acceleration to all of my athletes. This isn’t just a program for runners; it’s for all athletes. If you want to be successful in your sport, I would recommend Q. C. Acceleration. It works!
